Commitment in the work place (Part 2) - The peter pan syndrome.

            Like I spoke about in the previous blog, the commitment issues that the younger generations have been said to have, also extends into the workplace.  We have also been branded as the work-shy generation with a "snowflake" tendency. Gallup says 60% of Millennials and Gen Z are open to new job opportunities. O n the good side, we've been seen as tech-savvy and high achievers. we are also the generation with inspiring new ideas that will revolutionize the workplace and human interaction as we know it             So what exactly is the peter pan syndrome and how does it relate to our generation, in the workplace peter pan syndrome can be said to be an  unwillingness to work or stay working when you don't feel like or are not motivated. Commitment - the new generation problem.

     The Millennials also Gen Y, Gen alpha and especially our generation the infamous Gen Z, have been tagged as  commitment-phobic, we've been called entitled and selfie-obsessed,  There are majorly two areas that lack of commitment affects, relationships and workplace. we are going to talk about relationships in part one this blog.     According to the Pew Research, millennials, Gen Z and Gen Alpha are less likely to be married in their 20s than previous generations, while Gallup found a whopping 64% of 18-29-year-olds were single in 2014, having risen from 52% in 2004.     How reasonable is it to live in a tiny house or a mobile home? Questions have been popping up concerning this topic over the past few years, as many people have lost their jobs and are unable to pay the high cost of rent in the united states, more people are migrating from owning regular homes to Tiny houses or Mobile homes. There are roughly 10,000 tiny houses in the united states as more and more people are trying to reduce their financial responsibility by cutting down on rent. Less than five years ago there were only a couple hundred tiny houses, the large increase in the number of tiny houses in the last few years shows that many people have decided to stop paying rent and funnel that money into paying off student loans and being debt-free.
